Eurotherm and Interalu launch Interalu Italy
New joint venture brings integrated radiant and climate ceiling solutions to offices, hotels, schools, and retail buildings
Milan–Bolzano, September 9, 2025 – Eurotherm Spa SB and Interalu Group announce the launch of Interalu Italy, a new joint venture combining radiant systems and climate ceiling technologies to deliver energy-efficient, comfortable, and flexible retrofit solutions for big projects, offices, hotels, schools, and retail spaces.
A new company for a changing building landscape
Interalu Italy is operational from early September and will focus on large-scale renovation, modernization and newbuild projects in major Italian cities, starting with Milan and the Lombardy region. The joint venture’s integrated climate ceiling solutions combine thermal and acoustic comfort, lighting and sensor integration to create sustainable, high-performance spaces for the tertiary sector.
Meeting the demand for sustainable retrofits
With new European building performance standards and the growing demand for modern and efficient workspaces, property owners and investors are accelerating renovation projects. In Milan alone, more than 200,000 m² of office space was leased in the first half of 2025, with renovated and energy-efficient buildings clearly preferred. The revision of the European EPBD (Energy Performance of Buildings Directive - May 2024) adds further momentum, setting strict efficiency targets for the coming years.
Interalu Italy responds with flexible turnkey ceiling solutions that improve energy efficiency, deliver indoor comfort and help safeguard the long-term value of real estate assets.
Recent projects by the founding companies highlight the strength of this approach:
Eurotherm supplied recently radiant systems for several residential buildings and climate ceilings for the new Conad headquarters, for Durst Group headquarters in Bressanone and for Ares Line in Vicenza, designed with efficiency and user comfort in mind.
Interalu delivered climate ceilings for DPG Media’s Mediavaert headquarters in Amsterdam and for Möbius Towers in Brussels, two flagship projects that meet the highest sustainability certifications.
Christian Pezzei, CEO of Eurotherm Spa SB, said:
“With Interalu Italy we bring together Eurotherm’s experience in radiant systems with Interalu’s advanced climate ceiling technology. This partnership enables us to provide integrated solutions that combine comfort, sustainability and efficiency in one offering.”
Anthony Schrauwen, CEO of Interalu, commented:
“Interalu Italy allows us to strengthen our presence in an important European market for building retrofit and sustainable construction. Our solutions are designed to support investors and developers with flexible, future-proof systems that meet today’s challenges and tomorrow’s requirements at the right price and with the right service.”
New leadership appointment
To lead the venture, Davide Grimaldi has been appointed as Country Manager of Interalu Italy, effective September 1. With a career spanning senior roles at Johnson Controls and Clivet, he will guide the company’s growth and support clients in developing projects that combine innovation, sustainability, and user comfort.
