On 22 February, we rolled up our sleeves to plant 200 trees in Ghent. This way, We turn our sustainability commitments into action. With the help of many colleagues and even their families we helped plant a company forest.

The planting of the company forest near The Loop in Ghent is an initiative of Forest Forward, experts in sustainable nature and forest projects. Together with other companies including Yuki and Ikea, we also took up the spade at Interalu. A total of 1,000 new trees were planted.

The collective forest plays a key role in the redevelopment of The Loop. For us as company, it's a great opportunity to participate in this beautiful initiative. Since the common thread in our story is to provide sustainable and ecological solutions, the step to the planting of a corporate forest was obvious for Interalu.

‘Interalu's sustainability ambitions go beyond just our circular ceiling solutions for future-proof buildings. We also want to embed sustainability in our business processes and culture. This is why we are proud to contribute our bit, or tree, to this planting,’ concludes CCO of Interalu, Carlo Miers.
